This is 1 of 2 parts of a rare and special set of bar pieces attributed by the previous owner to Architect Robert Cika ( the architect behind Jackie Gleason's spaceship style mansion). There are no markings on this piece, but it is sure unique and well built. Large scale table holds a cabinet with tambour doors that graciously slide open to reveal ample storage space. The bottom shelf can slide out, the previous owner made holes in the back of the cabinet to place electronics through the cabinet. Last photo shows the other part of the set, a bar piece that opens to reveal a mirror and storage for glassware as well as divided storage below for any liquor and bar tools you may have.
Table - Approx. 63 1/4 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 14 inches tall
Cabinet -28 inches tall, 30 inches wide, 24 inches deep.
Condition- Good vintage condition, item was hand sanded carefully to remove the bulk of the marks and scratches but ensuring to sand as little as possible as to maintain the integrity of the piece. Some scratches and marks remain on the tabletop adding character to the piece.
Metal has some tarnish expected of age (patina), chose not to attempt to polish. It was given a good cleaning.
